Abdullah Cheng (@at_taywani)
As the current Khateeb and Imam at the Taipei Grand Mosque, Abdullah brings a unique blend of spiritual guidance and technological expertise to AzwajaMatch. Originally from Taiwan, growing up and studying in more than 4 different countries and eventually marrying in the city of Madinah, Abdullah has a unique perspective on life and relationships.
Combining his roles as a Software Engineer, Da'ee, and Islamic speaker, Abdullah built AzwajaMatch in response to the pressing needs he observed while serving as Imam at the Taipei Grand Mosque. His firsthand experience with the community's challenges in finding suitable matches inspired him to create a platform that upholds Islamic values while embracing modern technology.
